The Sea Ranger 65 Motor Yacht is a durable long-range cruiser with a conservative profile and a traditional double-deck floorplan. She’s built on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull with hard chines, flat aftersections and a shallow full-length keel. Inside, her all-teak interior is arranged with an on-deck galley and fully enclosed wheelhouse on the upper level and four staterooms below. (Note the powder room opposite the formal dining area on the main deck.) The huge full-width aft stateroom, accessed from a teak staircase in the salon, is very impressive in terms of size and comes with a tub in the ensuite head. Forward of the standup engine room, two of the three guest staterooms are fitted with double berths and there’s another tub in the starboard side cabin. The salon dimensions are about average for a yacht this size with enough room for a separate dining area as well as a fairly roomy aft deck platform. The side decks and aft deck are sheltered by a bridge overhang, and the extended flybridge is very expansive indeed. Standard 350hp 8V71Ns cruise the Sea Ranger 65 MY at an easy 10–11 knots and reach a top speed of about 13 knots.
