60 Flybridge

1996–2001

Viking Sport Cruisers 60 Flybridge
Introduced into the U.S. market in 1995, the VSC 60 Flybridge combined the rakish styling and spirited performance lacking in most American-built motor yachts of that era. Like her counterparts in the Viking Sport Cruisers fleet (i.e., Princess Yachts), she was constructed on a high-performance deep-V hull with a moderate 16'1" beam, reverse chines, and prop pockets. The opulent three-stateroom interior is arranged with the dinette and lower helm forward, two steps up from the salon level. The galley is down and features a connected utility room with dishwasher, washer/dryer, freezer and storage lockers. Both guest staterooms share a common head, and an aft stateroom/crew quarters (optional) is located beneath the VSC 60’s large teak-decked aft deck. The flybridge, with its centerline helm, deluxe wet bar, grill, and large sun pad, can be accessed from either the aft deck or salon. Additional features include a high-gloss cherrywood interior, teak swim platform, electric aft salon window, and bow thrusters. Like many European yachts, the engine room is a tight fit. A good performer with optional 800hp MANs, she’ll cruise at 24–26 knots (about 30 knots top).
