45 Flybridge

The Viking SC45 Flybridge combined the sleek styling and excellent performance of all of Viking’s imported Sport Cruiser series, but in a smaller and more affordable package. Built on a smooth-running deep-V hull, the lean and angular profile of the 45 is aggressive without the over-styling seen in so many similar yachts. Her two-stateroom, mid-galley floorplan is arranged with a centerline double berth in the master stateroom and twin single berths in the guest cabin. A washer/dryer is off the companionway, and a separate stall shower is fitted in the owner’s head compartment. (Note that a three-stateroom floorplan is optional.) High-gloss cherry cabinetry and luxurious furnishings make the salon of the SC45 among the more appealing in her class. Hatches in the teak cockpit sole provide access to the lazarette and engine room, and a molded staircase leads up to the flybridge with its U-shaped settee, cocktail table and aft sun lounge. Additional features include an extended swim platform, a cockpit transom seat, cockpit shower, bow thruster and a foredeck sun pad. A good performer with optional 480hp Volvo diesels, she’ll cruise at 25 knots and reach a top speed of about 30 knots.
