Uniflite
32 Sport Sedan
1975–79
A solid, well-built boat with a good turn of speed, the Uniflite 32 Sport Sedan was clearly designed with family cruising in mind. She was built on a solid fiberglass hull with a relatively wide beam and moderate transom deadrise. Like all Uniflites, the styling was conservative even by 1975 standards (when she was introduced), and today she looks like a museum piece when compared with her more modern counterparts. Nonetheless, the accommodations are very expansive for a 32-footer. Uniflite offered a pair of floorplans during her production years; the original layout has the galley aft in the salon, and the more recent floorplan has the galley forward and a portside lower helm. The cockpit of the 32 Sport Sedan is very spacious with enough room for some light-tackle fishing activities. Topside, the flybridge is arranged with the helm forward and lounge seating aft. Throughout, construction was on the heavy side and the finish is very good. Powered with twin 270hp Crusaders with V-drives, the Uniflite 32 Sport Sedan will cruise at 18–20 knots and top out in the high 20s.
