45 Pilothouse Trawler

A versatile yacht with tons of eye appeal, the Symbol 45 Pilothouse was developed for owners wanting the advantages of a traditional pilothouse design together with the ability to travel at higher speeds. Built in Taiwan, the hull is cored above the waterline and boasts a generous 14'10" beam. Stepping below, the comfortable salon of the Symbol 45 is arranged with a built-in settee to starboard and a spacious U-shaped galley forward, to port. A corridor leads from the salon to the owner’s stateroom with its island queen berth and ensuite head with separate shower, and to the guest stateroom with a double berth and hanging locker. The dinette is located in the pilothouse, the focal point of the entire yacht. Here, port and starboard Dutch doors provide easy deck access, and visibility from the helm is excellent. The Symbol’s extensive teak interior woodwork is notable for its superb joinery and beaujpgul finish. Additional features include a covered aft deck, cockpit engine room access, foredeck seating, and a large flybridge with dinghy storage aft. A single 450hp Cat will cruise at 8 knots, and twin Yanmar 440hp diesels cruise at 12–13 knots.
