41 Sundeck

Symbol Yachts 41 Sundeck
The Symbol 41 might best be described as a typical Taiwan-built sundeck cruiser with conservative lines and an inviting all-teak interior. Introduced in 1984, the 41 is constructed on a solid fiberglass hull with a relatively wide 14-foot, 5-inch beam and a shallow keel for directional stability. Several two-stateroom floorplans were offered during her production years, all featuring a spacious salon and a comfortably sized aft stateroom with a centerline queen berth. A lower helm was optional, and removable hatches in the salon sole provides good access to the engine room. Like most Taiwan boats of her era, the interior is completely finished with solid teak cabinetry. Topside, wide side decks and sturdy rails make bow access safe and secure. While the raised afterdeck isn’t any larger than other boats in her class, there is nonetheless plenty of space for an array of deck furniture. Additional features include a bow pulpit, flybridge seating for six, radar arch, and a swim platform. Twin 210hp Cummins diesels cruise at 12 knots (about 15 knots top), and 375hp Cats cruise the Symbol 41 Sundeck at 18 knots (20+ top).
