Albin 35 TE
The Albin 35 Tournament Express is a hardtop version of the Albin 35 Convertible. She’s a moderately priced family cruiser/weekend fisherman with roomy accommodations and a cockpit that’s large enough to meet the needs of weekend anglers. Built on a fully cored hull with moderate beam, a flared bow and a shallow keel, the solid, workmanlike construction of the Tournament Express is noteworthy. Buyers had a choice of interior layouts. The standard version has a single-stateroom with the galley down, and the alternate floorplan moves the galley into the salon and adds a second stateroom on the lower level. Either way, the interior of the Albin 35 is bright and cheery and the wraparound cabin windows provide excellent helm visibility in all directions. Additional features include wide side decks, six opening cabin ports and opening salon windows, transom door, integral bow pulpit, and a separate stall shower in both floorplans. Among several single- and twin-screw engine options, a pair of 370hp Cummins diesels cruise the 35 Tournament Express at 23–24 knots and reach a top speed of just under 30 knots.
