Albin

35 Convertible

2004–07

Albin 35 Convertible
A handsome boat with a distinctive Down East profile, the Albin 35 Convertible is a heavily built family cruiser/fisherman with comfortable accommodations and a cockpit that’s large enough to meet the needs of weekend anglers. She’s built on a fully cored hull with moderate beam, a well-flared bow, and a shallow keel for stability and tracking. Buyers had a choice of interior layouts: the standard version has a single-stateroom floorplan with the galley down, and the second moves the galley up and adds a second stateroom. Either way, the interior of the Albin 35 is bright and cheery, and wraparound cabin windows provide plenty of natural lighting. A lower helm was optional, and the flybridge could be configured with the helm aft for fishing or forward for cruising. Additional features include wide side decks, transom door, integral bow pulpit, six opening cabin ports, sliding salon windows, and a separate stall shower in both floorplans. Among several single- and twin-engine options, a pair of 300hp Cat (or GM) diesels cruise the 35 Convertible at an economical 21–22 knots, and a single 420hp Cat will cruise in the neighborhood of 17–18 knots.
