80 Voyager
2002–08
The Offshore 80 Voyager was among the more innovative long-range cruising yachts produced in recent years. With her tri-deck design and massive beam, the Voyager has the commanding appearance of a mini megayacht. Her extravagant three-stateroom interior includes a huge country-kitchen galley, day head, and private dining area on the main deck level, while the full-beam master stateroom—reached via a private staircase forward of the salon—features a king-size bed, his-and-hers head, and direct engine room access. Crew quarters are aft with a double stateroom, mini-galley, and a huge lazarette/workshop to port. On the third level, the enclosed pilothouse has a state of the art helm station with a U-shaped seating and a chart/computer area. Dinghy storage, a grill, and twin settees are aft of the wheelhouse, and the covered aft deck below includes a transom settee with twin teak tables. Additional features of the semi-custom Offshore 80 include a full teak (or cherry) interior, extended swim platform, and prop pockets. Caterpillar 800hp diesels cruise the Voyager at 8–9 knots (15 knots top) with a range in excess of 2,000 nautical miles.
