Offshore Yachts
54 Pilothouse
1998–2007
A popular boat in her class for many years, the Offshore 54 is a traditional pilothouse yacht designed by famed naval architect William Crealock. Her interior and exterior spaces are functional and comfortable in either the two or three stateroom versions. Built on a semi-V hull with cored hull sides, moderate beam and a deep prop-protecting keel, the Offshore 54 is widely recognized for her quality construction and seakindly handling characteristics. Entering from the aft deck through double sliding doors, the single-level salon features a U-shaped lounge to port with teak hi-lo coffee table and twin swivel chairs opposite. Just forward of the salon is the galley complete with Corian counters and a pantry area. The pilothouse with dining settee, port and starboard deck doors, and pass-thru to the flybridge is three steps up from the salon. Offered with a choice of two or three staterooms, the two-stateroom layout the has master suite amidships and the three-stateroom configuration has the master stateroom forward. Access to the flybridge is from the rear of the pilothouse or from the aft deck. Twin Cat 700hp C-7 diesels cruise at 16–18 knots. Note that the Offshore 52 is the same boat without the 54’s reverse transom.
