58-62 Flush Deck MY
1987–2002
A heavily built yacht, the Offshore 58 Flush Deck and her sistership, the 62 Flush Deck, differ only in the Euro-style transom of the 62. The 58/62 incorporates all of the features Offshores are known for including wide walkaround decks, a full teak interior, and an efficient, low-deadrise hull with a shallow keel and plenty of beam. Built in Taiwan, her lavish interior features an expansive salon with private access to the full-beam master stateroom, a spacious wheelhouse with a full dinette, and three guest staterooms. An interior stairway forward in the salon leads up to the flybridge, and the walk-in engine room (reached from the midships VIP stateroom) provides near-standing headroom. Note that the recessed side decks of the 58/62 can be easily accessed from galley and pilothouse doors. Topside, ample space is available on the flybridge for dinghy stowage, and an electric davit was standard. Additional features include a spacious galley with dishwasher and disposal, a king bed in the master suite, and an aft-deck wet bar. Early models with 550hp 6V92 Detroits cruise at 15 knots (17–18 knots top), and later models with 800hp Cats cruise at 18 knots (20–21 knots top).
