52 Monticello
1986–90
The Jefferson 52 Monticello is a classic flush deck motoryacht with a roomy flybridge, dual-station controls, and full teak interior. Like all Jefferson yachts, the Monticello rides on a solid fiberglass hull with a shallow keel to aid in directional stability. The layout features a fully enclosed afterdeck/wheelhouse area—an upper salon that serves as the boat’s primary gathering spot. An inside ladder next to the helm leads up to the flybridge where two L-shaped lounges provide guest seating for 6–8 people. The lower-deck salon is arranged with a built-in dinette forward, opposite a step-down galley with home-size refrigerator, generous storage and counter space, and hardwood flooring. The Monticello’s interior has the master stateroom and second guest stateroom aft of the salon and the VIP stateroom forward. The master is full-beam and features a walkaround queen berth, built-in desk/vanity, and walk-in closet. Opposite the guest cabin is the day head with stall shower. Forward, the VIP stateroom has over/under berths and a full en suite head. A teak and holly sole runs throughout the interior. A popular model, Cat 375hp diesels cruise the Monticello at 14–15 knots.
