475 Panacea
2014–20
Intrepid describes the awesome 475 Panacea as a “sure-footed, wave-crushing cruising experience with luxurious overnight accommodations but yet remarkably versatile.” Among the largest center console yachts yet conceived, the Panacea’s helm layout features three Stidd chairs with fold-down armrests, LED dash lighting, and removable cooler. The large, uncluttered cockpit features a folding rear bench seat, insulated fish boxes, numerous rod holders, padded bolsters and in-floor storage lockers. Note the swing-in hull side dive door with retractable ladder. Forward, an oversized sun pad and wraparound seating at the bow create a VIP lounge that converts to an al fresco dining area. Cabin accommodations include an electrically actuated V-berth/dinette with filler insert, teak and maple flooring, roomy head with separate stall shower, and full-service galley with microwave, refrigerator, and Corian counters. A custom powder-coated hardtop is standard. The freshwater washdown in the anchor compartment is a nice touch. Powered with quad Seven Marine 627hp outboards, the 475 Panacea is said to cruise at 45–50 knots (low to mid 60 knots top).
