Intrepid Yachts
430 Sport Yacht
2009–18
Any top-tier quality ranking of U.S. boat builders would certainly include the Intrepid brand at or near the top of the list. Intrepids are all about quality, and the 430 Sport Yacht—introduced in 2009—is a tour-de-force of American boat building excellence. With her shapely lines and versatile deck layout, few boats can match the 430’s aura of luxury and sophistication. Built on a foam-cored, single-step hull with a slender 12'8" beam, the 430SY combines outboard power and Intrepid’s unique hull design to meet the needs of serious fishermen and cruising families alike. The cockpit can be fitted with a wide range of factory bait stations, livewells, and fish boxes, etc. A large L-shaped lounge seat to port and removable bench seat aft provide comfortable seating for several passengers, and the 430’s well-appointed cabin features a separate aft cabin with queen bed in addition to a standup head with stall shower, compact galley with microwave, and forward settee seating that converts to a V-berth. Note the stylish hullside windows, hardtop sunroof, and mirror-smooth gelcoat. Triple Yamaha F350 outboards cruise the Intrepid 430SY at 30 knots (high 40s top).
