Intrepid Yachts
33 Cuddy
1993–95
A very lightweight boat for her size and one of Intrepid’s most popular models for several years, the Intrepid 33 is a high-performance day fisherman with plenty of sex appeal to go with her practical layout. Her raceboat-style stepped hull is built on a solid fiberglass bottom with Divinycell coring in the hullsides, and multidirectional pre-impregnated fabrics were used along with vacuum-bagging in the high-tech construction process. The 33’s center console deck plan will appeal to those seeking plenty of guest seating in addition to good overall fishability. The layout features a semicircular settee forward of the helm and a wide-open cockpit with three in-deck storage boxes and livewell. There’s space in the console for flush-mounting electronics, and swim steps are outboard of the integral engine bracket. Below deck, the cabin will sleep three and comes with a small galley and a private head with shower. Additional features include an anchor locker, pressure water system, raw-water washdown, and tackle station. A good performer, the Intrepid 32 will cruise at 30 knots (around 40 knots top) with twin 250hp outboards.
