327 Cuddy
2012–17
The Intrepid 327 Cuddy replaced the 323 Cuddy (2005–09), one of the company’s best-selling cabin boats of recent years. The Intrepid brand has long been associated with quality, and because each Intrepid model is highly customizable it’s rare to find any two that are exactly alike. The principal advantage offered by the 327 over her predecessor is the beefed-up transom and hull bottom designed to handle today’s high-horsepower 4-stroke outboards. More cruising boat than hardcore fishing platform, the guest-friendly deck layout of the 327 Cuddy features an L-shaped lounge seat forward of the console opposite a doublewide bench seat. The seat ahead of the console slides away at the touch of a button to allow entry to the head. To port of the leaning post is an aft-facing seat, so it’s necessary to walk forward around the starboard side of the console to go forward. The small cuddy cabin features V-seating that easily converts to a berth. A hullside door keeps swimmers away from the props, and the 327’s uncluttered cockpit provides lots of in-deck storage capacity. A fast ride, Mercury 300 Verados deliver a top speed of 50+ knots.
