25 Center Console

1997–2006

The Fountain 25 Center Console is a high performance center console designed to fish the SKA 23 class. This is not a true 25' boat—it has about two feet of bow overhang from the pointed bow and another two feet of platform overhang on the back, so the running length is only 21 or 22 feet. Built on a lightweight hull with a 15-inch transom keel pad for top-end performance, interior space is limited thanks in part to the slender 8'4" beam. The 25 CC boasts an efficient deck plan with an aft-facing lounge seat abaft the leaning post, twin aft jump seats, and a console seat forward of the helm. A two-person leaning post with a contoured bench seat is standard. Note that the base of the console is recessed for added toe room—a useful touch since getting around the helm is a tight fit given the narrow beam. Forward, an ice chest is tucked under the seat cushion in front of the console. Additional features include a built-in electronics box, an insulated fish box under the casting platform, trim tabs, and wraparound cockpit bolsters. The 25 CC was designed for single outboard power only. A 250hp Merc delivers a top speed of 45 knots.
