620

Probably not unless a few show up on YW next year. The Ferretti 620 is an updated version of the Ferretti 60 (1991–98) with fresh styling and a more contemporary interior. The 620 was a state-of-the-art yacht when she was introduced with lush accommodations and sophisticated systems. Built on a high-performance hull with a wide beam, her lavish interior is an impressive display of Italian design elegance. The standard three-stateroom floorplan of the Ferretti 620 reflects the European bias of locating the galley down—way down—in the salon. The master suite is amidships, and each head has a separate stall shower. Note that a utility room with a washer, dryer and freezer is reached from the galley, and a separate crew cabin (with head) is accessed directly from the cockpit. The engine room, accessed from another hatch in the cockpit, is spacious and particularly well engineered. The side decks are wide, there’s seating for a crowd on the roomy flybridge, and the extended swim platform can store a dinghy and PWC. A superb performer for a yacht of her size, the Ferretti 620 will cruise at a fast 29–30 knots with 1,100hp MTUs (or 1,050hp MANS) and reach a top speed of around 33 knots.
