23 Open

The Contender 23 Open and 23T are iconic boats. While they look the same on the outside, the are actually very different. Below is a summary of the key differences. • The 23 Open is a two-piece boat with an 8'3" beam. (The 23T is a three-piece hull with an 8'6" beam.) • Tournament-style console — standard with the 23T — was optional on the 23 Open after 1988. • The 23 Open is lighter and carries less fuel. • The livewell is in-deck on the 23 Open, above-deck on the 23T.
