Stamas
270 Express
1997–2005
The Stamas 270 Express is a dual-purpose family boat capable of serious fishing as well as comfortable cruising. She’s built on a solid fiberglass hull with a bow pulpit and integrated transom platform, and with her wide 9'7" beam the 270 provides plenty of cockpit and cabin space. The extra-wide walkways of the 270 allow an angler to easily fight a fish all around the boat. Visibility from the elevated helm is excellent, and there’s space in the dash for a full array of electronic equipment. Standard features of the 270 Express include an integrated swim platform with ladder, bow pulpit with roller, 18-gallon transom livewell, insulated transom fish box, built-in tackle drawers, gunnel rod holders, cockpit rod storage, aft-facing cockpit seats with storage under, full-height bow rail, cockpit lights, and raw-water washdown. Below deck, the roomy mid-cabin interior with standup head/shower, double berth aft, full galley, and convertible dinette/V-berth sleeps four. A heavily built boat, twin 200hp outboards cruise the Stamas 270 Express in the high 20s and deliver a top speed of about 40 knots.
