Stamas
250 Express
1998–2000
The Stamas 250 Express is a versatile 25-footer able to serve as both a weekend cruiser and capable fisherman. She’s trailerable of course, but to stay strictly legal you’ll need a permit since her 8-foot, 9-inch beam exceeds by three inches the maximum width allowed in most states. Constructed on a solid fiberglass hull with a molded bow pulpit, recessed trim tabs, and integral transom platform, the Stamas 250 Express has a roomy cockpit with an 18-gallon baitwell built into the port-side corner of the transom, rod holders, a 95-gallon insulated fishbox, abundant rod storage and a transom door. The 250 is a true walkaround with honest 360 degree fish-fighting capability. There are aft-facing fishbox seats behind the pedestal helm and companion seats, and a tilt-away helm console provides easy access to the wiring. Below, the cabin has a convertible double berth forward and an athwartships single berth aft along with a compact galley and a standup head/shower. A rugged boat with a handsome profile, twin 150hp outboards will cruise the Stamas 250 Express at 25 knots and deliver top speeds in the neighborhood of 35–37 knots.
