Silverton Yachts
34 Convertible
1991–95
A updated version of the boat she replaced in 1991, the widespread popularity of the Silverton 34 Convertible can be traced to her successful blend of modern styling, roomy accommodations, and a very competitive price. The 34 was designed as an entry-level boat for fishing, cruising, and entertaining, and her open-plan interior makes good use of the wide 12'11" beam. Including the convertible salon sofa, convertible dinette, and island berth in the forward stateroom, there are sleeping accommodations for six adults in the Silverton 34. An entertainment center is opposite the sofa in the salon and sliding salon windows provide excellent ventilation. Down three steps from the salon, the galley is equipped with stove, microwave oven, full-sized refrigerator, and numerous storage drawers and cabinets. Forward of the galley is the large head with separate stall shower. A choice of light oak or cherry wood accents were available. An alternate (less popular) two-stateroom floorplan was optional. In contrast to her spacious interior and roomy flybridge, the cockpit dimensions of the Silverton 34 are modest. Crusader 320hp gas inboards cruise at 18–20 knots.
