Silverton Yachts
34 Convertible
1989–90
Third in a series of 34-foot convertibles produced by Silverton over the years, the Silverton 34 Convertible is a mid-tier cruiser whose surprisingly affordable price included a long list of standard equipment. Rakish styling distinguishes her from most other convertibles her size, and the Silverton’s interior is as practical as it is Spartan. From the cockpit, a sliding glass door opens into the salon with convertible sofa to starboard and entertainment center to port. While the salon dimensions are not especially generous, large wraparound windows and light oak cabinets add to the impression of space. The galley with microwave and solid surface counters is forward and down three steps to port. A convertible dinette is opposite the galley, and the forward stateroom has a centerline double berth, sliding privacy door, and head with separate stall shower. A lower helm was optional. Rod holders and a transom door are standard in the cockpit. Topside, the flybridge features two captain’s chairs and seating for two forward of the helm console. Standard 350hp Crusader gas engines cruise the Silverton 34 Convertible at 18–20 knots.
