T46 Motor Yacht

With her spacious aft cabin floorplan (a rarity in European motor yachts), the Sealine T46 MY incorporates the sleek styling typical of many European flybridge designs with the greater interior volume and privacy of an American yacht. Indeed, there is much to like about this floorplan with its elevated lower helm, large staterooms and—rare for any European yacht—a reasonably spacious galley. (Note that an optional three-stateroom layout eliminates the dinette.) Visibility from the lower helm is excellent, however the Sealine’s engine room—accessed by removing panels in the salon sole—is an extremely tight fit. On deck, molded seating surrounds the cockpit, and the flybridge overhang conceals a drop-down canopy for aft deck weather protection. Additional features include a giant foredeck locker, teak decks, a roomy flybridge with wraparound guest seating and sun pad, a large circular escape hatch/window in the owner’s stateroom (where the bed faces aft), and a deep swim platform. A good performer with 430hp Volvo (or 450hp Cummins) diesels, the T46 Motor Yacht will cruise in the low-to-mid 20s and reach a top speed of about 30 knots.
