Sealine Yachts S37 Sports Cruiser
The Sealine S37 Sports Cruiser is a full-bodied family express with conservative lines and generous interior accommodations. Built the old-fashioned way on a solid fiberglass hull, the Sports Cruiser’s deep-V hull ensures a smooth and comfortable ride in a chop. Clearly, she lacks the sleek, sweptback profile of a Sea Ray or Sunseeker, but the seven-berth layout of the Sealine S37 and her separate head and shower compartments make a lot of sense in a family cruiser. In this boat, it’s possible to take a shower without tying up the head at the same time. Further, both compartments can be accessed from the salon as well as the forward stateroom—very unusual. There’s a standup dressing area in the midcabin, and four angled aluminum-framed doors close off the salon from the staterooms and head areas. On deck, the bi-level cockpit has a big semicircular settee/sun lounge aft of the helm, a wet bar to port, and a transom door that opens to a small swim platform with a teak sole. Note that the side decks are very narrow and engines access, via a gas-assist hatch in the cockpit floor, is tight. Optional Volvo 250hp diesels cruise the Sealine S37 in the mid 20s and reach a top speed of over 30 knots.
