C39 Coupe
2003–05
Sealine launched the C39 Coupe in 2003 with three different drive systems: sterndrives, Arneson surface-drive diesels, and a closed-tunnel drive system called Trimax that, like the Arneson, uses surface drive propellers. Beyond the propulsion choices, the C39 is a very distinctive boat in her own right. Unlike the usual open-backed hardtop sport cruisers from Sunseeker and Sea Ray, etc., the fully enclosed C39 provides complete protection from the elements. The tall, rounded house is unique; it creates a spacious salon area with excellent headroom and superb visibility from the raised two-seat helm position. A compact-but-complete galley is located opposite the convertible dinette, and power side windows and a big overhead sunroof provide plenty of ventilation. Below, the living quarters consist of two staterooms and two heads, both with a stylish washbasin, but neither of which has a separate shower stall. The cockpit, which can be extended 25 inches at the push of a button, includes a separate life raft compartment. Arneson or Trimax surface drives will both reach a top speed of close to 35 knots with a pair of 310hp Volvo diesels.
