A successful blend of raised pilothouse styling and versatile accommodations, the 480 Sport Sedan made the cut with yachting enthusiasts drawn to Ocean Alexander’s long-standing reputation for quality. She’s built on a lightweight semi-V hull with a relatively wide 15'6" beam, balsa-cored hullsides, and propeller pockets—the first (but not the last) Alexander model to incorporate pockets to reduce shaft angles and draft. The split-level salon/pilothouse floorplan of the 480 is arranged with the galley forward, opposite the lower helm position.
