Talaria 55 MKII

2004–11

Hinckley Yachts Talaria 55 MKII
Queen of today’s Hinckley fleet, the Talaria 55 MKII (a flybridge model is also available) takes Down East elegance and sophistication to the next level. Like all Talaria models, the 55 was conceived with comfort as well as performance in mind. Several accommodations plans have been available since her introduction in 2005, all with two large staterooms and heads. The beaujpgully appointed salon of the Talaria 55 offers abundant entertainment and dining space, and electric blinds and curtains can be drawn at the touch of a button. Forward, a full-service galley features a modern drawer-style refrigerator, top-load freezer, and microwave/convection oven. Visibility from the helm is very good in spite of the long—very long—foredeck. A pair of curved sliding doors open from the salon to the 55’s large cockpit with built-in lounge seating, storage lockers and a transom door. Note the extreme hull tumblehome and extra-wide side decks. An excellent performer with Hamilton waterjet propulsion and JetStick controls, Caterpillar 1,000hp C-18 diesels cruise the Talaria 55 at 25–26 knots (30+ knots top).
