Talaria 44 Flybridge

2002–11

Hinckley Yachts Talaria 44 Flybridge
The Talaria 44 Flybridge is yet another display of Hinckley’s commitment to boatbuilding excellence. This is a stunningly beaujpgul yacht whose blend of sensuous styling and jet-powered propulsion is as distinctive as it is unique. The heart of the 44 Flybridge is her elegant, enclosed pilothouse with its varnished cherry woodwork, teak and holly floor, and leather helm seat. Curved glass windows enclose the aft end of the pilothouse, and visibility from the lower helm is excellent is all directions. While Hinckley allows for several interior variations, the standard floorplan is arranged with the galley down, a split head, and two double staterooms. (Note that the shower compartment in this layout does not offer private access from the master stateroom.) The Hinckley’s spacious cockpit includes built-in seating for several guests as well as a centerline transom door and six-step bridge ladder. What really sets the 44 apart, however, is her idiot-proof JetStick control system. Twin 440hp Yanmar diesels matched with Hamilton jet drives cruise the Talaria 44 in the mid 20s. MKII models with 550hp Cummins cruise at 28 knots.
