C43 Coupe
2016–20
Designed for family cruising and entertaining, the Carver C43 Coupe is a sporty (sort of) hardtop motoryacht whose broad, single-level salon blends seamlessly with the cockpit when the sliding glass salon door is opened. Carvers have always tended to be big boats for their length and the C43 is no different. With her high forward freeboard, plumb bow and wide 13'10" beam the C43’s emphasis is clearly on living space. Stepping inside from the cockpit, the galley is aft in the salon/pilothouse across from a convertible U-shaped dinette with wood high-low table. A retractable sunroof provides plenty of natural lighting, and visibility from the helm is good in all directions. Note the dry storage area beneath the galley sole. There are two staterooms and two heads below. Forward is the master stateroom with queen island berth, private head, and hull windows. The guest stateroom with twin berths is to starboard under the helm. Wide side decks are a plus and the C43’s well-placed handholds make foredeck access safe and secure. Built on a solid fiberglass hull, optional Cummins 480hp V-drive diesels cruise the C43 at 24–26 knots (low 30s top).
