C36 Command Bridge
2019–21
The C36 Command Bridge targets the sport cruiser market with a boat that blends contemporary styling with a practical two stateroom interior. Aside from the large bridge, the most notable characteristic of the C36 is her plumb bow—rare on a modern cruising boat—and high freeboard. Those two elements combine to make the C36 a roomy boat below with more interior volume than most anything in this class. Stepping down into the salon from the cockpit, a convertible dinette is to port and a large galley is starboard. With the beam carried well forward, the bow stateroom is surprisingly spacious and features an elevated queen bed, generous storage and good headroom. The twin beds in the guest cabin covert to a double with a filler cushion, and a large hull window bring in natural lighting. An adult-size stall shower in found in the head compartment. Wide cockpit doors and wide side decks make getting around the C36 easy, and the command bridge—accessed by molded steps in the cockpit—offers 360-degree views of the water. Twin 330hp MerCruiser gas inboards cruise in the 22 to 24-knot range (mid 20s top). Yanmar or Volvo diesels are optional.
