530 Voyager Pilothouse

1998–2005

Carver Yachts 530 Voyager Pilothouse
The best-selling yacht in her class for several years, the 530 Voyager was the flagship of the Carver fleet when she was introduced in 1998. Her classic pilothouse lines will probably always be in style, and the Voyager’s spacious cherry wood interior ranked with the most comfortable cruising yachts of her day. The layout has the galley forward in the salon rather than on the pilothouse level as it is in many similar yachts. A curved settee is next to the centerline lower helm, and steps behind the helm lead up to the bridge. The pilothouse door is a plus, but rear visibility from the lower helm is compromised by the raised galley cabinets. There are three staterooms and two heads below including a full-beam master with washer/dryer cabinet and tub/shower in the private head. A walkaround queen berth is in the forward VIP stateroom, and the third guest stateroom's berths can convert to a sofa. On the upper deck, aft of the helm, is a circular lounge area with a molded table that accommodates eight or nine adults. Additional features include cockpit engine room access, joystick steering, and bow/stern thrusters. Cummins 450hp (or Volvo 480hp) diesels cruise at 18–20 knots.
