500-504 Cockpit Motor Yacht

An extremely popular model, the Carver 500 Cockpit MY (called the Carver 504 in 1999–2000) is a cockpit version of the Carver 455/456 Aft Cabin with additional fuel. Beginning with the original maple interior of the 500 and continuing in the revised interior found in the 504 model, the galley is aft in the salon rather than forward as it is in most motoryachts this size. This floorplan makes it easier to access the galley from the aft deck and bridge, while at the same time pushing the salon seating and entertaining areas forward. In the original Carver 500 model, a folding bulkhead in the VIP cabin conceals a small guest stateroom/den to port with convertible bunk beds. (By leaving the bulkhead open, the space becomes part of the forward stateroom.) A sliding door in the master stateroom opens to the cockpit with its molded boarding steps and walk-thru transom door. The large U-shaped galley features Sub-Zero refrigeration, convection microwave oven, granite counters, and tons of storage. Additional features include a tub/shower in the forward head, washer/dryer cabinet (master stateroom), wing doors, and an integral swim platform. Cummins 450hp diesels cruise at 18–20 knots.
