445 Aft Cabin

A good-looking boat in spite of her age, the Carver 445 is basically a Carver 440 Aft Cabin with a more stylish integrated swim platform. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a generous 15-foot beam, the 445 Aft Cabin is a big boat on the inside. Boasting an unusually spacious salon, two double staterooms, two heads—both with separate stall showers—and a convertible U-shaped dinette, the 445 can sleep up to eight adults. A lower helm was a popular option, and large wraparound salon windows admit tons of natural lighting. The galley, two steps down from the salon, includes a double sink and full-size refrigerator/freezer. Aft of the salon, the master stateroom features a walkaround queen berth, hanging locker, and private en suite head. Forward, the guest stateroom has an angled double berth, hanging locker, and private access to the second day head. The 445’s semi-enclosed aft deck has a full wet bar with refrigerator and ice maker. A salon entertainment center, foredeck sun lounge, aft deck wing doors, and radar arch were standard. Cummins 330hp (or Caterpillar 350hp) diesels cruise at 18–20 knots.
