Carver Yachts
43-47 Motor Yacht
2006–11
The Carver 43 Motor Yacht (called the 47 Motor Yacht in 2008–09) combines the spacious accommodations common to all late-model Carver yachts with the added advantage of a small cockpit for boarding, swimming, or diving. The most distinctive feature of the Carver 43 is her sleek styling with elongated salon windows that blend gracefully into the shape of the hull. With nearly seven feel of headroom, the full-beam interior seems enormous for a boat this size. Bathed in natural lighting and finished with high-gloss cherry accents, the galley-down floorplan features a well-appointed main salon with Ultraleather settee, two barrel chairs, and built-in entertainment center. The galley has all the essentials including hardwood flooring, Corian counters, and tons of storage. Aft, the Carver’s full-beam master stateroom has a walkaround queen berth, cockpit access door, and private head/shower, while the forward stateroom has a double berth and private access to the day head. Wing doors, molded aft deck stairs, transom door, and bow thruster were standard. The extended swim platform can support a PWC. No racehorse, Yanmar 370hp diesels cruise at a leisurely 16–18 knots.
