38 Super Sport
2005–09
With her tall freeboard and full-body profile, the Carver 38 Super Sport is a versatile flybridge sedan for entertaining and coastal cruising. This is a big 38-footer with more cockpit and interior space than one expects in a boat this size. By elevating the side decks above the lower salon windows, Carver designers were able to create a huge full-beam salon with excellent headroom and plenty of natural lighting. Entering through a sliding glass cockpit door, a Flexsteel sofa is to starboard in the salon, opposite the galley and entertainment system. The Super Sport’s home-size galley features Corian counters, side-by-side refrigeration, hardwood flooring, and generous storage. Forward, the elevated dinette with cherry wood table offers awesome views of the water. Two private staterooms and a large head with separate stall shower are below, accessed from a curved hallway adjacent to the dinette. Port and starboard fiberglass steps and molded bridge steps in the cockpit make getting around easy. An optional fishing package adds rod holders, transom livewell, and two in-deck fish boxes. The extended swim platform can support a small dinghy. Twin 375hp gas engines cruise at 20–22 knots (high 20s top).
