320 Voyager

Introduced in 1994, the Carver 320 Voyager was marketed as an inexpensive, entry-level family cruiser with a stylish profile and generous cabin accommodations. She was built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide beam and a moderate 16 degrees of deadrise at the transom. The Voyager, which is a very roomy boat below, was originally offered with or without a lower helm; without the helm, there was room for a stall shower in the head. Either way, the stateroom has an offset double berth (and a privacy door), and the dinette and salon sofa convert into double berths. In 1996, Carver introduced a completely new two-stateroom floorplan with the head and galley aft in the salon and a mini-cabin beneath the elevated dinette. Outside, the integral swim platform features a built-in fender rack and a hideaway boarding ladder. Access to the engines and V-drives is via hatches in the cockpit sole. The oversize flybridge of the 320 Voyager has the helm forward and guest seating for five. The side decks are narrow and foredeck access is heel-to-toe. Standard 5.7L Crusader gas engines cruise at 16–17 knots (high 20s top).
