310 Express

1995–97

Carver Yachts 310 Express
Available with inboard or sterndrive power, the 310 Santego’s curvaceous styling and expansive layout made her a good-selling model for Carver during the mid 1990s. Hull construction is solid fiberglass, and a wide beam and relatively high freeboard combine to provide roomy accommodations below. Two floorplans were offered in the 310 Santego. The standard layout has a spacious full-width salon with an L-shaped lounge aft that converts to private sleeping area with privacy curtain. An alternate floorplan offered a mid-cabin stateroom at the expense of a smaller salon. On deck, the 310’s cockpit has a double-wide helm seat with wet bar opposite. The wraparound seating aft of the helm converts to a sun lounge. Additional features include a foredeck sun pad, walk-thru windshield, removable cockpit table, trim tabs, and radar arch. A generator was a popular option. Crusader 265hp gas inboards cruise the Santego at 22–23 knots. Volvo 260hp I/O cruise in the mid to high 20s. This boat, with some changes, became the Trojan 320 Express in 1998. (Carver produced Trojans for a few years following their purchase of the company in 1993.)
