80-Foot+ Yachts: HMY Market Update

By Katie Flanagan   August 9, 2021

As the yachting industry continues to evolve with larger vessels in all classes, HMY has also continued to stay on pace with the market demand. We’ve had a record-breaking 18-months, and our team has recorded a yacht sale at an average value of 2 million dollars every 12 hours on average. We represent owners who have a wide array of yacht builders and brands, and we’ve made a strong presence in the larger yacht market in recent years.

HMY has sold over thirty yachts at a model length of 80 feet or greater in 2021. Of these thirty yachts, our team has selected five featured yachts that have been the most notable during this past sales year.

1.  2021 Ocean Alexander 118’ “Q”

“Q”, a 2021 118' Ocean Alexander 36L Motor Yacht, was listed by HMY Yacht Sales Professional Simon Graham at an asking price of $15,500,000. “Q” was not a listing to be missed. She was listed with low hours and a spacious layout that provides comfortable entertainment areas. Her luxurious interior is illuminated by the natural light the seeps in through her large, panoramic windows throughout.

“Q” was also featured in a social media walkthrough video where the HMY team highlighted some of her most unique features; of her most notable features seen on social and video a full-beam on-deck master with a night head as well as a his and hers master bath, a spacious galley with two sub-zero refrigerators/freezers, and a Beach Club. For those who do not know what the Beach Club is, it is Ocean Alexander’s version of a private poolside cabana, offshore. The Beach Club is an air-conditioned entertainment area located aft, with a wet bar, ice maker, and a TV.

2. 2008 Leopard 112’ “Encore”

This 2008 Leopard 112’ was listed and sold by HMY Yacht Sales Professional Jack Robertson at an asking price of $3,299,000. “Encore” was listed with low hours on her M93 MTU engines. She is a pedigree yacht offering stunning luxury performance. She reaches top speeds of over 40 knots and cruises in the mid-30s. “Encore” was kept in excellent condition and comfortably accommodates 10 guests with a layout consisting of four cabins, plus an on-deck cinema room with a full en-suite that doubles as a fifth stateroom.

Her exterior boasts fantastic lounge areas that stretch from the bow to the upper sundeck and the aft deck with alfresco dining.

This 112’ Leopard will offer her new owners nothing less than a thrilling performance in luxury and style.
