36 Sea Ray 360 Sundancer 2002 “Sea Retreat”

The Sea Ray 360 Sundancer was introduced in 2002 giving the newer cutting-edge styling and luxury class amenities along with an impressive mix of comfort and performance. The 360 DA was built on a Deep V hull with a moderate beam. “Sea Retreat” has a very comfortable layout with plenty of storage, a built-in entertainment center, nice ultra leather lounge, and excellent headroom. The forward stateroom has plenty of privacy with a two-part pocket door, and both the mid cabin and salon sofa offer additional sleeping areas. At the upper helm, there is a single captain’s seat with a double seat right beside the helm chair. The aft cockpit has two good sized lounges as well, with a table. All of the upholstery and canvas is updated and shows well. There is easy access to the engine room by an electric engine hatch. Other features on “Sea Retreat” are a large swim platform, aft trunk for storage and underwater exhaust. An iconic American brand for decades, Sea Ray was founded by Cornelius “Connie” Ray in 1959. Beginning with the production of fiberglass runabouts in Oxford, MI, Sea Ray’s steady growth during the1960s and 1970s is attributed to the powerful dealer network Ray established. By July, 2018 — with no buyers in sight — Brunswick reconsidered their decision, opting instead to reinvent Sea Ray by shuttering the yacht and sport yacht segments and emphasizing outboard-powered models from 24 to 40 feet.
