11 Meter Express

1990–92

Trojan Yachts 11 Meter Express
While the Trojan 11 Meter Express retains the same DeltaConic hull of Trojan’s original 11 Meter Express (1983–89), she added such new features as powder-coated railings and deck fittings, an integral swim platform, and a completely new single-stateroom floorplan. Indeed, the interior of the 11 Meter is far more open and spacious than her predecessor. There is no forward stateroom as such; instead, a huge sofa extends from the starboard-side galley all the way around the forepeak to the portside head compartment. The backrest can be swung up to form a single bunk, and the dinette table converts the bow area into a double berth. A private stateroom is to port with a full-size double berth as well as private head access. This is an unusual layout, but for all of its features, it’s still not as spacious as a conventional mid-cabin floorplan with double berths fore and aft. On deck, the bi-level cockpit is arranged with L-shaped lounge seating forward and bench seating aft. Twin 360hp gas engines cruise at 18 knots and top out in the high 20s. Optional 425hp Cats cruise at 24 knots. GM 485hp 6-71 diesels cruise at nearly 30 knots.
