Predator 58-60

1997–2002

Sunseeker Yachts Predator 58-60
Ever since the first of Sunseeker’s Predator models was launched back in 1995 these elegant yachts have set the standard for quality and performance in the 50-foot-plus luxury sportscruiser market. Long and slender, the sleek styling of the Predator 60 (called the Predator 58 in 1997–98) has aged but little since she went out of production in 2002. Below, her lush accommodations are arranged with a sweeping settee opposite the galley and a bar set along the port side. Forward is the master stateroom with its en suite bathroom, and twin guest cabins aft share an equally generous head compartment. The cockpit, which seats six at a U-shaped lounge behind the helm, is dominated by an oval sun pad that sits atop a dinghy/PWC garage with a built-in launch-and-retrieval winch. Additional features include a cockpit wet bar, wide side decks, foredeck sun pad, a teak cockpit sole, and stunning wraparound stainless-steel windshield. Note that a hardtop with sunroof was a popular option. Running on a deep-V hull with prop pockets, twin 800hp V-drive MANs (or 760hp Detroits) will cruise at 26–28 knots and top out in the mid 30s.
