Sunseeker Yachts
82 Yacht
2004–07
Sunseeker made quite an impression with the 82 Yacht, an elegant and stylish motor yacht and a great performer as well. This imposing vessel boasts several notable design innovations, including offering both owners and their VIP guests equally luxurious accommodation in the forward and amidships staterooms. Step up into the main salon and you enter a spacious open-plan interior where small dividers and cabinets give the impression of four separate areas — helm, galley, formal dining room and lounge room. Enormous windows flood the entire main deck area with natural light. Access to the lower deck is amidship and forward of the helm. Here, the 82 sleeps eight in four luxurious staterooms including a massive full-beam master suite with king-size bed, sofa, his-and-her closets, and en suite head with spa bathtub and bidet. The covered aft deck is ideal for alfresco dining, and there’s a huge swim platform that lowers hydraulically into the water. Crew quarters, reached from the bathing platform, include twin bunks and private head. The entire deck, side steps, and bridge deck are laid in teak. Twin 1,550hp C30 Caterpillar engines cruise the 82 Yacht at 24–25 knots (30+ knots top).
