Y85

2019–Current

Princess Yachts Y85
Heralded as the new look for future Princess motor yachts when she was introduced in 2019, the Y85's sweeping profile houses an interior sanctuary that resets the benchmark for modern living. Designed by the Italian studio Pininfarina, the most stylistic feature of this boat is the immense hardtop seemingly supported by twin cantilevers on each side. The single-level main deck area provides an expansive and luxurious living space, and the home-size galley — with a deck door for easy provisioning — can be closed off from the salon by a sliding partition. Below deck, up to eight guests are accommodated across four beaujpgully appointed cabins. The opulent full beam master suite features a vanity/desk to port with room to spare for a separate dressing area with two large wardrobes. The VIP cabin forward also has a walk-in wardrobe, rare on a yacht this size. Both amidships guest cabins have en suite heads. On the main deck level, the cockpit is fully shaded and has a C-shaped sofa and raised dining table for entertaining close to the salon. Thanks to the separate steering position and doors to the side decks, the crew can move discreetly about the yacht. Twin 1,900hp MAN V12 engines reach a top speed of 28–30 knots.
