Princess Yachts
F45
2019–Current
The Princess F45 is only the second Princess model to sport IPS pod drive propulsion. Designed for coastal cruising and entertaining, the galley is on the main deck just inside the cockpit doors within easy reach of the salon dinette and the L-shaped cockpit seating. A unique feature of the F45 is her electrically sliding transom seating that extends the size of the cockpit. The salon features a U-shaped sofa and dining table for 6 guests which also doubles as a comfortable double berth. The state of the art Naim Atom audio system—standard in the salon—can be extended throughout the yacht. With the engines located all the way aft in the hull there is space on the lower deck for two large double cabins including a full-beam master suite amidships with large windows and space for a washer/dryer. (Note that a full beam amidships master in a boat this size is only possible when space-saving pod drive units are employed.) The flybridge isn’t huge but it’s well designed with a twin helm position, large sun pad, wet bar and dining table. Wide side decks make getting around easy. Volvo 435hp IPS 600 diesels deliver a top speed of 30 knots.
