V50

2019–Current

Princess Yachts V50
Available with an open or enclosed main deck, the second-generation Princess V50 (the original V50 was produced from 1999–05) is long on space and performance. She also has the distinction of being one of the first Princess models to feature efficient IPS pod drive propulsion. With the Open layout—the preferred warm weather configuration—the V50’s main deck is completely open to the cockpit and dinghy garage beneath the sun pad. The Enclosed layout trades the sun pad and garage for U-shaped cockpit seating and a hydraulic swim platform that takes on tender storing and launching duties. Large as the main deck is, the amount of space on the lower level comes as a surprise in a boat this size. The full beam master stateroom features full standing headroom lit by large hull windows while the forward cabin has a large double bed and the option of scissor berths. With a full height refrigerator, electric cooktop and space for a dishwasher the galley of the Princess V50 is a gourmet’s delight. In both layouts, two sets of stairs lead from the swim platform to the cockpit. Volvo 435hp IPS 600 diesels reach a top speed of 32 knots.
