After selling over 500 boats in the U.S. under the Viking Sport Cruisers brand, the 72 Motor Yacht is one of the first Princess yachts sold in America as a Princess product. A fusion of style and elegance, the Princess 72 will never fail to impress. Below deck, the four-stateroom three-head interior features an expansive single-level salon/dining area (most motoryachts this size have split-level salons) with hardwood flooring and a choice of cherry and walnut interior joinery. Light pours in through tiered windows down each side of the salon, and the galley can be discreetly separated from the salon behind an aft sliding glass screen. The distinctive vertical hull windows in the Princess 72 allow an abundance of natural lighting and ambiance into the luxurious full-beam master stateroom. Topside, the expansive flybridge is equipped with a full-service bar, barbecue, and lounge seating for eight. The engine room—like most European yachts, a tight fit—is accessible from the transom door via the crew’s quarters or from a hatch in the afterdeck. Built on a deep-V hull with propeller tunnels to level the engines, Cat C32 1,625hp diesels cruise the Princess 72 at 26–27 knots (low 30s top).
