495 Cockpit MY
0
Built on a solid fiberglass modified-V hull with a relatively narrow beam, the interior dimensions are more compact than other boats this size, although the wraparound cabin windows do much to open up the salon area. The standard galley-down floorplan is arranged in the conventional manner with double beds in both staterooms, fore and aft head compartments (but no stall shower forward), and a full dinette opposite the galley. A choice of teak, oak, or ash woodwork was available, and the lower helm was standard. Additional features include excellent storage, wide side decks, plenty of guest seating on the bridge, and (in the 495 model) a big aft stateroom window overlooking the cockpit. Standard Caterpillar 435-hp diesels cruise the President 495 Cockpit MY at 18 knots and reach a top speed of 20–21 knots. Note that the President 495 Sundeck (insert picture) is the same boat without the cockpit.
