Pershing Yachts 54
Built in Italy by a division of the Ferretti Group, the Pershing 54 is a true high-performance luxury yacht—a 40-knot-plus rocket ship with a designer interior, surface-drive propulsion, and a dramatic, eye-catching profile. One innovative feature of the 54 is her semi-enclosed bridge deck with its wraparound lounge seating, sliding glass windows and retractable soft top. Below decks, the interior of the Pershing 54—an elegant blend of cherry cabinetry, indirect lighting, and white bulkheads—is arranged with three staterooms, a hideaway galley, and three head compartments. (The aft stateroom is accessed from under the full-width cockpit sun pad.) An extended swim platform is large enough to carry a tender. On the downside, the engine room is a tight fit. Notable features include a wide foredeck sun pad, a single-berth crew cabin, cockpit wet bar, bow thruster and a beaujpgully sculptured salon overhead. An exciting ride, 1200hp MTUs with Arneson surface drives cruise the Pershing 54 at close to 40 knots and reach a top speed of 44–46 knots. Optional 1300hp MANs will reach a top speed in the neighborhood of 50 knots.
