GT60 Convertible

2007–15

Hatteras Yachts GT60 Convertible
Claimed by Hatteras to be the first production boat to offer “a truly custom look,” the distinctive styling of the 60 Convertible is a notable departure from the conservative lines of previous Hatteras models. Inside, the 60 Convertible features a luxurious salon with a comfortable L-shaped sofa with rod storage beneath, as well as an entertainment center with 42" TV. Forward, the home-size galley features two under-counter refrigerator/freezer units. There are three staterooms and two heads below including an a athwartships master with walkaround queen berth. The 60’s huge cockpit benefits from the boat’s broad 19-foot beam. Overlooked by a mezzanine deck, access to the engine room is on the centerline, and two large fish boxes are positioned fore and aft in the cockpit sole. An updated GT60 model introduced in 2011 features a revised interior (with salon serving counter and a third head below) and a redesigned cockpit. Built on a resin-infused, modified-V hull with cored hullsides and a solid fiberglass bottom, large eight-blade propellers are tucked into deep tunnels at the stern. Optional Cat 1,800hp diesels cruise at a fast 33–34 knots (about 40 top).
